On 23 June 2025, Euro-Funding Europe, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce,<\/strong> is organising the event \u201cStrengthening Financial Management in EU Projects: Supporting Associations for Sustainable Impact\u201d, which will take place at Silversquare Europe, Brussels. This session is specially designed for European associations that rely on EU-funded projects as a core pillar<\/strong><\/span> of their operations. While these funding programmes offer great opportunities, managing them effectively requires specific financial and administrative expertise that is not always readily available within organisations.<\/p>\n

The event will focus on identifying common pitfalls<\/span><\/strong> in project financial management\u2014such as errors in personnel cost calculations, challenges with time tracking, and misinterpretations of programme rules (Horizon Europe, LIFE, Interreg, etc.)\u2014and will provide practical tools and internal practices to improve budget control, planning, and forecasting. Experts from Euro-Funding will share technical insights, while guest speaker Selene Liverani (E.DSO for Smart Grids) will bring real-life experience from an association managing a stable EU project portfolio.<\/p>\n

In addition to the expert-led sessions, the event will offer space for peer exchange<\/span><\/strong>, allowing participants to share their own challenges and good practices during an open discussion moderated by Marie Latour, Head of the Brussels Office.
